009 Gauge Kit. 4mm:1ft Scale. 9mm Gauge. In 1915 three 2ft gauge locomotives were built for the Hampton Water works system of the Metropolitan Water Board. They hauled coal from wharves on the River Thames to the boiler houses until the railway was closed. Named 'Hampton', 'Kempton' and 'Sunbury', they were resplendent with polished brass dome, safety valves and boiler bands. Although the locos have all been scrapped, efforts are being made to re-open the railway with alternative motive power. Email me for the latest news.
